n8n Raises $180M Series C at $2.5B Valuation to Scale AI Workflow Automation

TL;DR

Workflow automation platform n8n closed a $180M Series C round on October 9 2025, led by Accel and Meritech with participation from Deutsche Telekom T.Capital, valuing the company at $2.5 billion.

The Series C follows an earlier EUR55M Series B from Highland Europe in March 2025, and the back-to-back rounds reflect how quickly n8n has become the default choice for developer-led automation teams that want the power of Zapier without the per-task pricing. The roadmap focus is on more AI agent nodes, a cleaner cloud experience for non-developers, and continued investment in the open-source core -- that last commitment matters most, since it is the main reason teams pick n8n over Zapier or Make in the first place. For existing self-hosters this is reassurance that the project is well-funded and not pivoting away from the OSS license. For non-technical teams, the promised cloud UX improvements could make n8n a credible Zapier alternative without needing engineering help to set up and maintain. The $2.5B valuation places n8n firmly in the enterprise automation conversation alongside Workato and Tray.io.
