Coursera Launches Google AI for Business Professional Certificate

The curriculum is pitched at managers and operators rather than engineers -- heavier on AI strategy, vendor evaluation and workflow design than on building models. Five courses cover prompt engineering, AI tool selection, automation patterns and governance, with capstone projects pulled from real Google deployment scenarios. It directly targets the same audience as DeepLearning.AI's Generative AI for Everyone, but with stronger employer signalling thanks to the Google credential. Each course can be audited for free; a paid certificate is required if you need the shareable credential for a CV or LinkedIn profile. For mid-career professionals trying to stay relevant, this is one of the more credible certificates to land in early 2026 -- and for Coursera Plus subscribers, it is included in the existing plan at no extra cost.
